Austin Ranks as the No. 2 Market to Sustain Potential in 2019

A recent Emerging Trends in Real Estate Report by Pricewaterhouse Coopers and the Urban Land Institute determined the top 10 U.S. real estate markets to hold the greatest potential in 2019. Millennial population, high connectivity, technology readiness and ease of doing business are all factors that the top 10 real estate markets share. Austin, Texas, is the No. 2 best market to look out for in 2019, second to Seattle, Washington.

In a decade alone, Austin’s number of jobs has increased by 3 percent per year. And with a growing millennial population, the Austin market is predicted to perform exceptionally well this 2019.

“More specifically, markets like Austin, Dallas and Nashville are characterized by dynamic start-up economies and entrepreneurial activity that account for approximately 10 percent of new company formation (per given market) in the last three years, according to the report.”

According to the report, the top ten cities also have “vibrant culinary scenes and active live-work-play environments,” which helps their impressive markets.

"Over twenty years ago I was introduced to Ellen Muskin by my real estate attorney as the person to work with in the multifamily market in Austin, Texas. Since then she has represented me in both the buying and selling capacity. She is a true professional unique in her ability to cover all the bases while working closely with both buyer and seller. Her comprehensive experience and innate negotiating skills together with a sharp sense of humor makes for a delightful and very positive working relationship.

From start to finish she reflects an honesty and integrity that is refreshing and makes for a positive relationship with all parties during and after the deal is done."
